Tranquil Fury by P.G. Thomas

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Tranquil Fury (Anti-Matter Chronicles #1) by P.G Thomas. The book begins with a high intensity of action and continues through out. There is masterful character development and I felt I was on the journey with the kids through the descriptions of the areas.
The school day begins as a normal school day with no hint of the twists and turns that lie ahead for the students on the bus. The action begins with the bus crash. Four teens, John- the intellect, Lauren and Logan- the twins, and Eric- the football captain, all wake up and realize tat something is wrong. For one thing, there are three suns shining above hem. The bus driver is missing, so no adults “crossed” with them. Ryan and Zach, two other passengers on the bus, are found unconscious. Ryan has been confined to a wheelchair, but through the “healer” no longer needs it.
The kids are able to put aside all differences and band together, sometimes a little too easily for a group thrust into unknown territory, especially teens. I don’t think this detracts from the story. They are able to make the most of the mysterious world they woke in.
The cliffhanger at the end of the book is little frustrating, but it only makes me want to get to the second book in the trilogy quicker! I can’t wait to get my hands on Sky Elf. I am giving Tranquil Fury five stars and recommending this book to anyone who likes to read books with elves, dwarfs, and mystery!
